What is CPP-ACP?

CPP-ACP stands for casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate. Recaldent® CPP-ACP is derived from milk protein and contains calcium and phosphate.

CPP-ACP has been the subject of dental research for many years. Recaldent provides a convenient way to include this ingredient while chewing sugar-free gum.

Recaldent is a food product and is intended to complement, rather than replace, normal brushing, flossing and regular dental care.

Chewing sugar-free gum stimulates saliva production. This makes sugar-free gum a convenient option after meals or between brushing occasions when brushing is not practical.

Saliva is an important part of the mouth's natural defence system. Increased saliva flow helps clear food particles and supports the mouth's natural buffering and mineral processes.

Maltitol, reduced starch syrup, CPP-ACP (casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate) (MILK), processed fat; sweeteners (sorbitol, xylitol, aspartame, acesulfame potassium, sucralose), gum base, flavour, gum arabic, mannitol, acidity regulator, emulsifier (SOY lecithin), vegetable wax, colours. Contains milk and soy. Contains phenylalanine.

Blood Orange and Pineapple Sticks

Maltitol, reduced starch syrup, CPP-ACP (casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate) (MILK), processed fat; sweeteners (sorbitol, xylitol, acesulfame potassium, sucralose), gum base, gum arabic, flavour, mannitol, acidulant, lecithin (SOY), vegetable wax, colours. Contains milk and soy. These flavours do not contain aspartame.

Important Note

Recaldent® contains CPP-ACP, which is derived from milk casein. Do not use if you have an allergy to cow’s milk proteins or soybean-derived products.

Mint and Grape Sticks contain aspartame and therefore contain a source of phenylalanine. These flavours are not suitable for people with phenylketonuria (PKU).

Blood Orange and Pineapple Sticks do not contain aspartame.
