GC Recaldent - Chewing Gum
GC Recaldent Mint Gum is a discovery from Melbourne University and Professor Eric Reynolds. This amazing gum uses the compound CCP-ACP, which mimics tooth enamel. We use this compound in toothpaste and chewing gum to help teeth after they have had acid attack from foods and drinks.
A study of 2,720 students over two years showed significantly less tooth decay when one piece of gum was chewed three times a day.
CPP-ACP Ingredient was developed in Australia. The complex is derived from peptides isolated from the milk protein called casein. It helps replace lost minerals in decayed teeth. It can be regarded as an additional caries prevention tool, over and above other accepted strategies such as fluoride
Saliva will enhance the effectiveness of CPP-ACP and the gum will help stimulate saliva flow. The longer CPP-ACP and saliva are maintained in the mouth, the more effective the result.
